It eliminates any of the www and no-www double listings on certain engines. PS. Yes, it can be done via .htaccess but who the hell wants to start manipulating the one that works fine now? It's a great way to keep old posts getting recent links (and the page views and outside links) that come with it. I've used <a href="http://www.acmetech.com/blog/2005/07/26/adsense-deluxe-wordpress-plugin/">Adsense Deluxe</a> and liked it. It's great if you're going to use adsense in your posts (I see that you don't so kudos to you!) I use the related entries theme and highly recommend it.
