Remembering to Share
Google Reader has a Share feature that allows you to mark items in the RSS feeds that you subscribe to. When you do that, those items are then made available for public consumption through a custom URL and through a custom RSS feed.
Well I read things all the time that I want to share a link to, but it’s frequently a chore to write a full post about them, and I just never seem to get around to creating a speedlinking post.
Now I think the Share feature has solved that for me. New today, you’ll notice in my sidebar a Great Things I’ve Read section. That pulls right from my Share list automatically, so it will always be up to date. In addition, I’ll do a quick post every time I build up 5 to 10 links just so that they also become part of my RSS feed for all of you who subscribe.
So be sure to keep an eye on that section for some great articles, and here’s a list of the first 10!
