Great post today by the new owner of Blogging Experiment on "What I Look For When Buying A Website." It's an outstanding look at all the elements of value in a site -- many of which most people never think about. If you know what's valuable, you can focus on those things and make your exit as lucrative as possible.

That's the title of one of the best articles I've ever read and you can find it over at Meta Best Blog Win. Great advice in a great format. A big thanks to Free Lancer for pointing it out.

If you're a Drupal developer who's also interested in quitting a day job, you can't miss this chance to work for Aaron Wall. More than any other single source, Aaron showed me what I needed to make a clean break from the day-to-day, and I will always be thankful for that. This is a phenomenal opportunity.

I don't drink much bottled water. I work at home so I'm never very far away from the tap, and my water tastes just fine. I added the Top Commentator plugin to this site a month or so ago. It automatically places a text link to the sites of the top 5 commentators in my sidebar on every page so that it's easy to see who's the most active here. Here's the kicker, though: despite the fact that I have an RSS subscriber count that I'm very happy with and despite the fact that the site gets very consistent traffic, everyone's apparently apprehensive about ...
