We Have a Winner!
Congratulations to Peter Kimmich from TryOurLA.com, the winner of the $10,000 Business Boost contest! I was floored by how many truly worthy submissions we received. There were international submissions, funny submissions and submissions from site owners whose topic really stunk — literally. And the sites ran the gamut from glimmers in the eye to businesses that could see the finish line of being able to cash out in a very big way. There are so many very talented, very creative people out there.
And a huge Thank You to all those who helped spread the word! The three winners of the Spread the Word part of the contest were:
- TJ Gamble from development firm Jamersan, located in the bustling metropolis of Auburn, AL. He chose the subscription to ShoeMoney’s Internet Marketing Tools.
- Ayat Shukairy from The Invesp Blog where they cover e-commerce and landing page optimization. She chose the BuzzStream subscription.
- Amanda from Bristol Bay, Alaska, who chose the Crazy Egg subscription.
And the contest would have been nothing without our sponsors. I can’t say enough about Jeremy L. Knauf, Aaron Wall, Jeremy Schoemaker, Neil Patel and Jeremy Bencken. Thanks so much, guys!

Congrats Peter!
Shane – Thanks for hosting this contest. I’m looking forward to keeping an eye on TryOurLA.com, and seeing what changes are made.
I enjoyed writing our submission, and it helped me get some thoughts out on “paper”. We were one of the glimmers in the eye…ha, I hope…ours wasn’t meant to be funny or stinky

Thanks a ton, Shane, I’m sure it was a tough call. I was completely shocked, believe me.
I’ll use the wisdom of these experts wisely, and try my best to bring light to my ambition of tearing a screaming hole in the Internet, as I promised. My girlfriend and I (the site is as much hers as mine) will make you proud!
Cheers to everyone,
Peter and Lana
