I’m Never Glad It’s Friday
Most people I know are always glad it’s Friday and usually dread Monday morning rolling around. I know lots of others, though, who are doing what they love and who enjoy every day.
If you’re struggling to get something off the ground — making sacrifices, working late hours, not having a lot of fun — I want to tell you this morning that it’s absolutely all worth it. When the blood, sweat and tears you’ve put in finally start to bear fruit, it’s way better than you ever even thought it could be. Way better.
Don’t give up.

Even in ministry we get tired, but we know our labor will be rewarded.

I’m glad it’s Friday not because I don’t have to work at the weekend, but because I can focus on mini-projects and not worry about the day-job.

I’m glad it’s Friday because tomorrow we’re celebrating my oldest daughter’s 5th birthday. And because tomorrow is the LSAT date, so that’s always good for business : )
