    I love the concept! So much in fact, that when I read this article, I tried the format on our main site and let it run for a few months. At the end of our test, we found that:

    1. Submissions stayed the same (quantity)
    2. Quality of submissions dropped drastically.

    My .02 – It’s one of those things that can work great for some sites, poorly for others, and may have no impact either way for others. The only way to know is (like anything else in marketing) to test it.
